Tidemark Breathworks
Our story

A slower, steadier idea of what wellbeing can be.

Tidemark Breathworks grew from one plain observation: most people do not need to be pushed harder, they need somewhere calm enough to finally come down.

Why low tide

We chose the quietest hour of the day on purpose.

Low tide is the moment the water stops arguing with itself and simply rests. That is the state we are trying to help you find: settled, unhurried, and honest about where your energy actually is.

There is nothing new-age about it. Slow breathing, supported movement, and real rest are some of the best-evidenced tools we have for a frayed nervous system. We just give them room and time.

What guides us

Three quiet commitments

Principle one

Credible, not clinical

We stay grounded in what the evidence supports and honest about what breathwork cannot do. No promises we cannot keep.

Principle two

Paced to you

Your body sets the tempo, every single session. Rest is always an option and never something you have to earn.

Principle three

Small on purpose

We keep the studio small so nobody becomes a number. You will know your facilitator and they will know you.

Principle four

Access matters

We work to make sessions reachable, and we point members to practical help, including the paperwork that supports everyday access.

The team

A small circle of practitioners

Enough of us to hold a warm room, few enough that you will always see a familiar face.

Elowen Carrick

Founder and breath facilitator

Started Tidemark after a decade in respiratory care, wanting a calmer way to help people breathe well before things went wrong.

Jonah Teller

Restorative movement lead

Trained in trauma-aware movement and spends most of his week helping people release tension they had stopped noticing.

Saoirse Amrani

Recovery and care coordinator

Guides members returning after illness or burnout, and makes sure the practical side of access is never an afterthought.

Come and meet the room

The best way to understand a quiet studio is to sit in one. Start with a single, unhurried session.
